Jean Bartik ENIAC programmers at Google

Whist doing my normal SEO research I came across a blog post on Googles corporate blog about an event Google hosted honoring one of the original female programmers of ENIAC.

A couple of moths ago, the Computer History Museum (CHM) in Mountain View honored Jean Bartik with its Fellows Award. This lifetime achievement award recognized her work as a programmer of the ENIAC and leader of the team to convert ENIAC to a stored program machine.

The night after Jean gave a talk about her experiences on the ENIAC project.

Very interesting and I wonder as I live in Bedford in WW2 the largest town too Bletchley Park if there are some elderly women who worked on Collosus living nearby.
