Interestingly its not only Belgian courts that have inflated ideas of their importance. A number of sources report that “A Brazilian court has ordered the closure of YouTube following the site’s failure to completely remove a video showing Ronaldo’s ex-missus Daniela Cicarelli and her new boyf indulging in a bit of beach rumpy-pumpy”
Shut down an entire service (that arguably has common carrier status) – doesn’t really fit in with the “reasonableness” test that natural justice requires.
What next Tony Blair getting blogger or wordpress.com shut down because a blogger is saying nasty things about him?
